Four children from Crete, Alex, Irene, Kostantis and Nikolas, were searching desperately for their time-machine, which had mysteriously disappeared. That quest led them to strange places of many secrets. At last they found the machine, and this took them again to travels through time. During this adventure they met and befriended Alexander the Great. They understood his character, learned some of his secrets, and were transported with him in time to ancient Pergamon in the company of the philosopher Aristotle. After their adventures in Crete in the time of King Minos, the four young time travellers – Alex, Kostantis, Nikolas and Irene – found themselves back in Crete during the years of Venetian rule. There they became friends with Arete, Bianca – a niece of the governor, Count Morosini – and the brave knight Fabbio. Again they landed in danger and were imprisoned. In the midst of a bid to save their lives they met Pietro Longobardo, a Venetian noble with a dark secret…

Οι τέσσερις χρονοταξιδιώτες η Ειρήνη, ο Αλέξανδρος, ο Κωσταντής και ο Νικόλας ταξίδεψαν ξανά μέσα στο χρόνο. Αυτή τη φορά βρέθηκαν στην Κρήτη κατά τη διάρκεια του Δευτέρου Παγκοσμίου Πολέμου. Ο Αετομανώλης, ένας γενναίος κρητικός περιέθαλψε τα παιδιά και τα φιλοξένησε στο σπιτικό του. Γνώρισαν το γιο του, τον Χρήστο, στον οποίο αποκάλυψαν το μυστικό τους. Εκείνος τα βοήθησε να επισκευάσουν τη χρονομηχανή για να επιστρέψουν επιτέλους στην εποχή τους. Όμως τα ταξίδια τους στο χρόνο και οι περιπέτειές τους δεν τελειώνουν εδώ….

Μετά το απρόσμενο ταξίδι τους στην Κρήτη του Μίνωα οι τέσσερις χρονοταξιδιώτες ο Αλέξανδρος, ο Κωσταντής, ο Νικόλας και η Ειρήνη στην προσπάθειά τους να επισκευάσουν τη χρονομηχανή για να επιστρέψουν στην εποχή τους, μεταφέρθηκαν κατά λάθος στην Ενετική Κρήτη. Εκεί γνώρισαν την Αρετή, τη Μπιάνκα και το Φάμπιο ένα γενναίο ιππότη. Μπλέχτηκαν σε παράξενες καταστάσεις και βρέθηκαν στη φυλακή. Κι ενώ αγωνίζονται να γλυτώσουν τη ζωή τους συναντούν τον Πιέτρο Λογκομπάρντο, ένα ενετό ευγενή, ο οποίος κρύβει ένα σκοτεινό μυστικό…

Oι τέσσερις φίλοι, ο Αλέξανδρος, η Ειρήνη, ο Κωσταντής και ο Νικόλας έψαχναν απεγνωσμένα τη χρονομηχανή τους που εξαφανίστηκε με μυστηριώδη τρόπο. Η αναζήτηση της, οδήγησε τα παιδιά σε παράξενα μέρη με πολλά μυστικά. Όταν επιτέλους τη βρήκαν, τους ταξίδεψε ξανά πίσω στο χρόνο. Γνώρισαν τον Μέγα Αλέξανδρο και έμαθαν το χαρακτήρα, τις σκέψεις και τα μυστικά του. Ταξίδεψαν μαζί του ως την αρχαία Πέργαμο παρέα με το φιλόσοφο Αριστοτέλη. Εκεί έζησαν απίστευτες περιπέτειες και κατάφεραν να υπερπηδήσουν πολλούς κινδύνους. Ένα συναρπαστικό ταξίδι γεμάτο γνώση, αγωνία και πολλά απρόοπτα!
